Chuck, any hypothesis why summer X summer produced zero summer seedlings out of 9 or 10 surviving seedlings? The cross did produce one or two frozen fall cycle rebloomers. IMM X MATRIX. Both have bloomed more than once outside of spring bloom here, although heaviest bloom is always spring for both.
Mismatched secondary traits re: temperature triggers, min time to maturity? IMM reblooms here more than MATRIX, so may have mismatch of threshold of something involved.
Makes me think it's an on/off switch for something recessive that isn't cumulative.
