Francelle,

Where was the article by George Sutton published? Do you have a copy?

Thanks,
Bill

Hello, Betty,
I always cure mine in the manner described by George Sutton a few years ago,
except for tieing them in nylon hose and soaking them in the toilet tank, I
leave them in their net baggies and soak them in a large bowl by my sink,
changing the water twice a day for five days. Then I chill them in the
refrigerator for about three months before planting. I have been getting
about 90 percent germentation. The one time I tried planting right out of
the pod, 11 out of 30 seeds germentated and they all died. It wasn't the
right time of year in my climate.

I have a couple of fall pods that I will cut in the next few days. I want
to make sure these seed are planted in time to germinate next spring. I'm
wondering if I should try to cure the seed before I plant them, or should I
plant them as soon as I cut them? Anyone with positive experience from
planting without curing?

I really don't want to mess this up. It's Star Gate X Over and Over.
