I don't think you can absolutely predict this. I think a number of
factors are involved such as climate and the cultivar itself. If
Walter's climate remains warm for another month or two and he has a mild
winter then those increase will grow and mature and possibly bloom in
the spring. If winter is severe then the increase will wait until
possibly summer or fall to bloom. Orange Harvest, the cultivar Walter
mentions is blooming for me right now and had bloomed also in the
summer.
