DANA BORGLUM

Dear Happy Iris Folk:

I just got a message from Dana's daughter, Karla.  She said that her Dad is
very impressed with the letters and cards he received from Iris-L folks when
they learned he'd just lost his wife, Norma.  In fact, he's so impressed that
she's going to join Iris-L.... and she's going to try to encourage HIM to
join!

Wouldn't THAT be cool!

For those who do NOT know, Dana is a hybridizer in central New York, not far
from Geneva.  He hybridized LAKE KEUKA and his name's scattered all through
the most recent AIS Bulletin.  Dana is not often able to get to conventions
because he's usually running all over his iris field (that he maintains
himself), and so he's got lots to teach us all... and maybe even a thing or
two to learn.  He's also one of the very nicest people I know.
