I have kept I. Setosa alive for a couple years and, Sibtosa has 
bloomoed for me but it also only lived a few years.
I.Lactea in bloom now and it is only  a few inches from the ground. 
You need to experiment in Fla.  Try different spots probably need 
some light shade.  I think you may beable to use some of 
Dr.Zurbrigg's rebloomers or I. Albicans.  Tour your town next spring 
and see what is in bloom.  I bet if you asked people would share with 
you.
