Re: Iris albicans


I've been growing I. albicans here in central VA for about 20 years.  It
does well in a quite inappropriate (partly shaded) spot.  The foliage is
evergreen and might be damaged in a more rigorous climate.  It seems little
affected by fungal leaf spot.  The flowers are a beautiful pure white and
fragrant.  My original material was imported from Pakistan.

Earlier in the year I shared some of this with other listers and wonder how
their plants are doing.

Let's remember to change topics when we start talking about something new.
"Zurbrigg's Rebloomers" is not the right heading for a discussion of I.
albicans!
