I believe that Leo and Norma Barnard at Paradise Iris Gardens have both CC and
HM. They have tried to collect complete set of Luihn irises.
One approach would be to order another of each and compare them against what
you have. If you cannot distinguish the two that you have from each other,
possibly one was mislabled somewhere along the line.
Another approach would be to call Leo or Norma and ask if they can tell you
the difference. They were good friends with Walt (Luihn). Their number is
