TB: rebloom

From: ItsRoTalk@aol.com

Hi everyone -
I've been away from home for a month and I missed Immortality's bloom. :(
Some of you may remember that I had questions about the fact that it was
putting on a stalk when I had only planted it 2 months earlier. Someone also
asked me if it had increases on it, and said that it might not do well in the
spring if it didn't. When the stalk came up, it did not have any increases.
I'm thrilled to say that it now has 2 new sets of leaves that are about 4
inches tall. I hope I can get it to stick around!
I was also pleased to see a stalk in full bloom on a plant called Summer
Holidays. Can't remember exactly where I got this one (I don't have my
notebook in front of me) but it has lovely pale purple flowers. And, as an
added bonus (and kind of a late one) there is a stalk getting ready to open on
Off Broadway.
Before I left home on Oct 3rd, I had written off about 6 plants. They just
looked so bad that I was already looking for new plants to replace them. When
I got home and checked them, I have only actually lost one, Tomorrow's Child.
All the others have come back with a vengance! Maybe I should take long trips
more often!!
I hope this is interesting to someone besides myself. This is my first year
with a huge garden and I'm thrilled to see my plants doing so well. Maybe I
won't gush so much next year...but I hope I do!!!

Joni in GA
who is wading thru 10 tons of e-mail. Had no idea you guys could write so much
in a month!!!
