We have and I am glad that the last bulbs were planted on
Sunday...the ground is getting frozen and we have had several
hard (killing) frosts. I fear for my largest old bearded iris
bed that is covered with oak leaves and (gulp) a few too many
weeds. :( My excuse is that I now have two gardens 30 miles
apart and have put my energy into the new one...weak excuse.
*** SNOW on the ground covering the flower beds this morning
and it is still coming down. As Celia quoted correctly from
my posts last winter:
Snow blankets the garden,
the gardener forgets the struggle.....(maybe in January ;)
