Don't worry Anner, I hear you loud and clear. I have already decided not
to label it thus. I realise that there are not only other named
neglectas that are similar, but possibly a few un-named ones, the result
of pollen daubing, or bee crosses, that could be very close in
appearance. Also, I feel that the original source of this iris would be
an unreliable one, even if it confirmed the name HC. I think I might be
able to obtain a reliable rz through the Victorian iris society, and
will most likely attempt to do this. In the meantime it will be called
"Helen Collingwood?", for my purposes only, and not handed on as such.
Still, I'd feel my money was safe if I bet on it being HC!
