To start off with, they were planted in the very poor soil here,
and they stayed there until about the middle of Sept.. By that
time they didn't look to well, the fans were a yellow green color
and had not put that many fans up either.
So then I removed them from the ground and still using the soil I
have here, put them in pots and put them where they got a bit
more shade too. Also, instead of just 'watering' them, I gave
them daily doses of my plant food. Now most of them have a lot
darker fans and have put up more fans too.
As I said, they are all now in my bathroom around the sink, and
I'm keeping the bath tub about 1/2 full of HOT water, and when I
say HOT, I mean HOT, I had the park manager turn UP the temp
control of my trailers water heater to NUKE MELTDOWN and boy does
it keep the water hot! I've tested it and the water in the tub
takes about 5 hours to cool down. So I fill it up just before I
go to bed and after I'm up and awake I do it again. Good time to
do my washing of my shirts and pants then too. Anyway, its warm
and humid inside that room. I also put one canna seedling in
there too, to see how it does.
Oh, BTW, that one you sent me while I was still in Hawaii, I've
lost track of just which one it is, but it's in with the yellow
ones too.
Hawaii Humid? What would give you that idea? only about 65 to 80%
every day. YUK!
