Tom Burseen gave a program for the Iris Soc. of Dallas a couple of years
ago on hybridizing. He said that if you would apply a little spit to the
stigma and then dab on the pollen, you would get more takes. You probably
already know about this,
but I didn't, and I have gotten much better results since doing so.
