The people around here know I'm totaly nuts now!
Today with ice cold 45mph+ winds blowing (still no rain) I was
out removing the No Named Iris I have from their pots and
planting them in the bed area I hope is ready for them!
Last month I had scooped out an area and all the bio-mass that
was left over from my plant food brewing went into that area and
then a layer of soil covered it over. Now I've been putting the
iris on top of that soil, I build a mound and put the iris on top
and then use the soil from the pot to cover the roots and build
the sides of the mounds up to keep them from washing away.
Today the last of the no name iris were planted. Now I'm not
going to say they had long roots inside the pots, but I do wonder
where those chinaman hats came from! and they all got a good
feeding of my plant food too.
Then I picked the two rose blooms and put them in my sake bottles
and placed them up by my Ninja sword. Now I'm just drinking
coffee to warm up my insides which froze outside.
