Hello folks,
Well, that rooster quit crowing in the stock trough. One thing about him
some might bear in mind - he molts in the summer.
Now molting is not really an issue in my part of Texas, where nearly every
plant goes semi-dormant whether it's supposed to or not, but those who
have more congenial growing conditions might want to bear in mind that
the fellow has officially been described as semi-dormant.
Whew! I really appreciate the work and effort of a commercial outfit on
getting orders packed, labeled and on their way. Kudos to those who
perform those duties in volume every year. Not to mention that I forgot
Veteran's day, so am delayed until tomorrow on several. What Joe and
Donna went through in our Texas heat this summer, I cannot even begin
to imagine!
