I've been doing a little dreaming about pollen daubing lately also.
Possible crosses for thornbird that come to mind are Outrageous Fortune,
Dime a Dance, Latin Lark, Honky Tonk Blues, Riverboat Blues, SaN Miguel,
Spirit World, Spinn-Off, Dance Hall Dolly, Boogie Woogie, Tempting,
Abstract Art, Honeymoon Suite, Honey Scoop, Hookem Horns, Wings of Peace,
Bugles & Horns, Daubers Surprise, Heartbreak Hotel, High Impact, Wing
Commander, Dance for Joy, Dream a Little, Daubers Delight, Cloudia,
Guadalupe, Madam Bovary, Spring Parasol, Topless Dancer, Change of Pace,
Planned Treasure, Point Made, Rainbow Tour, Role Model, Theater, Twice
Thrilling, Vanitys Child, Sorceress, Joy Junction, Spinning Wheel, Crafty
Lady, Sheer Poetry, Sterling Prince, Lilac Laser, Royal Pink. Thats just a
few. There is also that varigated foilage with almost black flowered plant
that came out this year. Of course crossing it with Stingray or Trick or
Treat would be more likely to give us the dark flower with appendages and
maybe that varigated foilage. For those of you who like calm quite selfs
there are always the pretty pink flowers I just love.
Yes I'm quite insane and no I havn't even started on Louisana's or Spurias
yet. Just bought a piece of Double Talk this year can't wait to try for
some La double seedlings.
