Hi, and welcome to the list Robert. I grow PCN's in Castlemaine (Central
Victoria, Australia) where the temperatures drop to around -4degC on
frosty Winter mornings, and frequently soar to round 40C (around 110F)
in Summer. My first batch of 35 plants, grown from seed last October,
have not yet flowered, and this years seedlings are ready for
transplanting. I can not really say how successfull I have been yet, but
those transplanted to garden conditions seem to be very happy, and one
seedling has leaves 18" tall. My only flowers this year were a lovely
large dark purple from a plant I purchased in flower last Spring. I
couldn't resist 'selfing' them, and have some pods developing now.
Jan Clark, always interested to hear about other PCN growers trials and
tribulations.
