Those of you with check lists will have to correct me if I'm under the wrong impression here.......

I would guess that the check lists contain name of cv, hybridizer, date of intro, and a description of the iris. 

Would this mean that even the hybridizer would need to ask permission to use any of this information in promoting his own introduction? 

Considering the way I think this was interpreted, we'd all be breaking copyright laws simply by mentioning a cv's name and describing it!
