OT: Other Lists

From: Irisborer@aol.com

I've had a few requests about the other lists I belong to.... I'm sorry that
I didn't keep a record of how you join the hepatica list (but I'll find
out.... great list - and you get seeds and plants and other cool things too).

The 'official' daylily list is open only to members of the American
Hemerocallis Society. If you are a member, you can write to Tim Fehr,
fehrtj@uwec.edu, Eau Claire, Wisconsin (E-Mail Robin Leader and Daylily List
Co-owner), who will then verify your membership and sign you up.

The Hosta List is also a 'closed' list. If you are a member of the American
Hosta Society, you may write to Carolyn Schaffner <drsnooks@buffnet.net> and
she'll take care of you.

To get information on the Arisaema list, write to: grsjr@JUNO.COM (George R
Stilwell, Jr.)

Alpine-L is restricted to members of NARGS (North American Rock Garden
Society), and Lily-L can be joined by writing to Robert Turley RTurley@aol.com

Many other lists are available through OneList <http://www.onelist.com/>
When you sign on, there is an option to "list" the lists on the left-hand
side. When you get the primary menu up.... click on "Environment" and two of
the options will be "Flowers" and "Gardening".

There are some lists that I don't see mentioned however.... and you can search
for them. There is an unrestricted daylily list (keyword "daylilies") and an
unrestricted hosta list. I believe there is also something called
"shadegardening".

We are all gardeners first and I learn lots just by letting all this
information wash over me.

Kathy Guest who never met a plant she didn't like.... with the possible
exception of petunias
