Dear Tammy,
It has been my experience that the cooler the weather, the less likely
iris are to come down with rot, so I surely wouldn't flirt with pneumonia by
going out too soon. We have lots of oak trees around our yard and though I am
sometimes slow cleaning them off,
the iris have done fine.
