Hi all!
Imagine my surprise, as i checked on the considerable 7 increases well
underway on Blazing Sunrise. ..and there down about 4 newly planted rhizomes
was...........A BUD ON DASHING! A BUD ON DASHING! I swear it was not there
just a day or 2 ago. I'm out there taking their little pulses everyother day.
It should (If i'm not jinxing myself) open since we still have a good
three or four weeks before really cold temps and even then, who knows.
Needless to say, it will be posted to the iris-photos list with all haste upon
opening. It is
kind of low on the stem, but WHO CARES? I didn't expect any blooms til
spring!! YAHOOO!!
Janet Natale, zone 8 of south carolina where the 80 degrees of yesterdays high
may have coaxed that baby out.
