No, and I certainly wish someone could get the thing into commerce. I've got a
commercial source who is very interested in getting it going for distribution
and I keep hearing about it being offered, but when I investigate it turns out
to be the japonica, which is a lovely plant and I have not had problems with
reversion, but it is not tectorum. I asked Jim Waddick about this and he
assured me that it does exist, but I can't find anyone growing it and surely
no one selling it.

The only lead I have that I have not checked out yet is this:

Roslyn Nursery, 211 Burrs Lane, Dix Hills, NY
(516) 643-9347

Now, I think that is getting a bit cold for japonica to survive, so if it is
not a greenhouse plant for them--and I don't usually think of them for tender
things--then it might well be the tectorum.

The question to ask when you call to inquire is "Is the plant stoloniferous".
If the answer is yes, it isn't tectorum.

Here is hoping, Bill.
