Marte--I am wondering the same thing. We have only had 1" of snow, too, and this
dobe soil is dry, dry, dry, as is the air. I don't want to dig hoses out, either,
but the iris, especially those I planted later really are needing some water, so
probably will uncoil a hose and water them since the drip and sprinkler systems
have been shut off for the winter.
