Happy Thanksgiving eve to all of you. Kathy I am sorry that I too read your
e-mail about not eating too much too late. The weather in southern
California was glorious today. Sunny and in the mid 70's. I watered my
irises that are at my mom's today. [so I can go out and weed in the
morning]. She has a wonderful stalk of EGGNOG [Byers] that opened this
morning. It looks like it is going to have at least 11 blooms on it.
Rosalie, I too think that once is not enough. I think that Riverside is
USDA zone 10. I have no idea what the Sunset zone is. One more thing to
look up when I get home.
I spent the morning on the second of three legs involved in making truffles.
I don't normally start this early; but, I looked at the calendar and
realized that if I didn't do them this weekend I didn't have any others left
between now and Christmas. Got about 300 made. Now all I have to do is dip
them. I should start tonight but I think that I will wait until tomorrow.
