Guess I am lucky! I use 'popcorn' styrofoam exclusively and have not had
one person report any irises rotting in transit. But, I don't do
international orders either. For the short haul with UPS, I think
'popcorn' is the way to go.

	Maybe, it's because I:

My chief objection to 'popcorn' is that it is not biodegradeable
and can blow around everywhere when I am packing boxes.

My objection to excelsior is that it is a fire hazard and that it is
messy to clean up. Also, rhizomes can get lost in it, overlooked
and thrown away. I am glad that Schreiners has a little slip of
paper tucking inside each box that indicates the number of
rhizomes present. I would have otherwise trashed some because I
did not see them.
