No, it isn't an iris.  The question that the answer was a response to, was 
for perrineals that would be friendly in an iris bed.  The responses to my 
answer seem to indicate that mine was a lone opinion or a chance at a 
localized (very) setting was letting the two work and probably not a choice 
selection for the many.
A previous response asked whether I was sure if I had original tubers 
returning or reseeding from parent plants.  I'm positive the second year was 
from the originals but the subsequent years could be reseedings so I quess I 
need to truthfully say there is doubt.
