Re: RE:OT-Shipping material


(I had this reply half-written when the  phone rang, and after 2 phonecalls, 
I looked and saw that my  "letter" had disappeared into thin air -I'm not 
sure it's worth re-writing, but want to say that I agree with Chuck,  When 
the styrofoam "squiggles" as I called them before others named them "peanuts" 
-- there was no email to pass the word around~!  The came in the packing of 
my husband's lab equipment and everyhone thought they were wonderfull!  Not 
so now -  they flutter around my kitchen -and difficult to corral.  And 
newspaper holds moisture and definitely not good for bearded irises if they 
have not been thoroly dried.  Elcelsior - ( or fine wood shaving?) are used 
by those who ship a lot.   It is another story for the beardless -- they need 
to be kept moist and should not dry out.  Rosalie nr Baltimore,USA  zone 7 
whee we are having beautiful - tho chilly at night - weather for a change.
