OT: responses to iris-talk queries

I've noticed that some of my responses to others' queries don't
appear in the listings. Only recently, when I went to the bottom
instead of the top to click on "Send Message," I noticed that a
question appears, asking if you really want to send the message. Do
you have to say yes to that or it doesn't send? Bizarre if so.
