This might be something you specified, or was already specified on your
machine when you set up your mail software. I'm on AOL and it has a SETUP
option under "mail center" and it asks if I want it to confirm that something
will be sent by just such a question, I of course have that option set to
"off". Not sure how yours works. HOpe that helps!
