OT-BIO-Carol Ann Carney

Greetings!

I live in northern middle Tennessee at the southern extention of Land
Between the Lakes just 20 miles south of the Kentucky Border. I am
in zone 6. My husband, Badger and I began growing irises about 6
years ago. Five years ago we had 30 varieties and now we have more
than 800. Three years ago we entered our first show with five TB's
and have been hooked on buying, growing and showing ever since. We
live on a rocky hill and there are no flat spots to grow anything.
It has been an extremely dry summer. Two weeks ago we finally had
almost three inches of rain. TB WAVES OF GRAIN and TB FROST ECHO now
have buds on them. Last year we had something blooming in every
month except January and December. This year has been too dry for
that. I am very interested in learning as much as possible about how
others grow their irises with respect to soil ammendments, etc. We
also have several SDB, IB and MTB varieties along with the TB's.

Thqank you,

Carol Ann
