As you say, you will know when it blooms.  You might be able to tell by the 
branching.  ABB has a strange lower branch, an exaggeration of the lower 
branch on VANITY. Of course, corkscrew stalks might get in the way of this 
identification.  If memory serves, ABB is a Sporatic/California 
rebloomer--one of those that only throws a rebloom stalk, inland, on rare 
occasions.  

Any chance you moved it this year and watered it a lot to help it settle into 
place?  I've had a number of marginal things rebloom in those conditions, 
including BEVERLY SILLS.
