About a month ago Lowell Baumunk mentioned the need for controlled
experimentation when we try to determine the effect of various factors on irises.
There is a good publication that I came across the other day that may help anyone
who is interested in doing controlled experimentation in there gardens. It is a
downloadable pdf file. The publication is titled "Conduct Your Own Garden
Research." The description indicates that this publication "explains how to run
scientific experiments in market or backyard gardens and interpret your results."
The web address is:
http://info.ag.uidaho.edu/Catalog/PDFList/pdflist_gardening.htm
Click on the publication "Conduct Your Own Garden Research" and a pdf file will
appear which can be printed.
Happy Researching!
