We have had rebloom on NORTHWARD HO and HIGH HO SILVER (HHS, for the first
time ever). There are buds on BLUE MOONLIGHT, SUMMER OLYMPICS and
BILLIONAIRE. We have had temperatures in the high twenties and low thirties
for three or four nights, so I don't know how the bloom will be on those
still in bud. NH had stalks that went through the low temps and has new
blooms open today which are normal in appearance. All of our rebloomers were
divided and replanted last year during the great drought. I think that
accounts for the scarcity of bloom this fall, even though we have had a good
growing season with plenty of rainfall. I am looking forward to next fall
and plentiful bloom!
Rosalie, I will send this report to Everett Lineberger for his records. We
are having wonderful warm days and cool nights, also...love it!
