I'm not trying to take anything away from iris-talk

I agree Kitty, and I feel there is plenty of room for both. There is an
amount of false information that gets traded there, and I think the forum
needs a few more knowledgeable iris growers to pipe in ocassionally. There
is also a tendancy for people to post photo's in order to obtain names. A
few regulars have tried to get the message across that you can't name an
iris from a photo, etc.
I beleive the older mailings are dropped completely, so that only a certain
number of pages are retained, unlike our archives.
There are also Australian garden forums, and I have recently posted photo's
to the Aus. garden gallery, if anyone is interested. Just from memory, I
think I posted DANCE MAN, ALPINE REGION, LADY FRIEND, BAHLOO, WITCHES WAND,
MARY FRANCES, MONTEVIDEO, also APOLLO (dutch) and some blue dutch, which I
think are PROFESSOR BLAU.
The gallery is at:

cheers, Jan
