Hi All,
I have to agree with Dorothy that this has been a very bad year for rebloom, even if we are zones apart. I expected as much since the Spring did not bring a very big show of bloom here in eastern North Carolina.
I finally have rebloom on HIGH HO SILVER, VIOLET MUSIC, WINESAP, and TENNISON RIDGE. I am still getting rebloom on DUKE OF EARL and GIBSON GIRL. This is still far below what we had last year, even with the hurricanes and 25 inches of rain.
The last few weeks have been relatively dry and this has probably helped the rebloom somewhat. We had a moderate Fall last year and I had rebloom until mid-December. I'm hoping that I'll see more bloom before Winter comes.
I'm envying all of you that are having better luck than I am. I'm already looking forward to a better Spring with more iris blooming than we had this year.
