You can get the Garden Markers from Charley's Greenhouse and Garden:

for $3.00 each. However, I do what Francelle Edwards does
and make labels with a Brother Label Maker. You need a model
that takes laminated UV resistant tape. While it is no doubt
more expensive than the markers, afterwards I can actually
read the label; no more guessing what the squiggly letters are!
