If I may do so, I'd like to add to Bill Shear's addition to Linda's
advice....
An excellent resource for irises is the book by the above Bill
Shear. My daughter picked it up this year--she's an iris newbie as
of this summer--and says the book is a must-read. The AIS storefront
has it for sale, incidentally. You might enjoy browsing both the AIS
