Re: SOS!!! Iris rossii and Iris kobayashi

Hello Joanna,
I have been growing I. rosii here in the garden for some years now. It is on
the western edge of my shade garden, growing next to a large limestone rock in
rather heavy clay....raised above a path just a bit for drainage. Easily grown,
nothing seems to bother it. Good heavy bloomer before foliage fully gets into
gear. Always received comments from visitors to the garden, such as "when will I
be dividing it." No experience with I. kobayashi, but could be talked into trying
some seeds or plants here purely on an experimental basis;-)
