RE: weeds

Yes!

Ok, ok, that is too simple, but, those of us with more iris than we should
have, need all the help we can get. Out here in West Texas we hand weed,
cultivate, spray and pray!! Bermuda grass and bindweed don't respond to
much besides herbicides. Round-up is the most common thing we use but you
have to be very careful not to spray or let spray drift onto desirables. We
also use a pre-emergent (Preen, Surflan, etc.) to keep the miscellaneous
weeds down and back it up with hand weeding (usually about 20 hours a week).
Cultivation or in our case mowing between the beds helps keep things from
going to seed.
Hope this helps.

I live in Kentucky, where temperature is not extreme, and have always
had a problem with controling weeds between my rows of TB. I am up to
30 rows and the problem increases drastically.

What is the solution to maintaing clean rows? Cultivation? Sprays
