I'm assuming that if an iris has a parent that reblooms, it may have the
potential to pass along rebloom traits even if it doesn't rebloom
itself.
Is this true?
In particular, if I cross two non-reblooming IMMORTALITY X WHATEVER
seedlings, will some percentage of the next generation rebloom? Must
not be quite that simple or there'd be a lot more early/summer
rebloomers around than we have yet. I assume it's hard to get good
quality stalks and blooms, but don't have a good sense of how hard it is
to get rebloom/early bloom.
