It is reassuring to know that it is not just Creswick that is wet and cold.
I still have dwarfs blooming here, and the talls are just starting. One of
my earliest talls has set bee pods. We had a lovely warm week when it
bloomed. I think I will keep the seeds if there are any. It was LAVENDER
PARK (G. Grosvenor) and won the Australasian Dykes last year.
I have discarded plenty of seedlings so far, but One that is currently
opening looks interesting. It is Honky Tonk Blues X Moody Hues (SDB) and
looks a nice blue with ruffles. It has PBF and is growing well, despite
being crowded into a fruit box with 20 other seedlings.
My favourites in bloom at present are OBA OBA, CROSS CURRENT, DECIPHER, CAFE
RISQUE, DIVINE, and BRIDAL FASHION has put on a wonderful show.
Cheers, Jan Clark, in cold, wet Aus.
