I visited the site and registering as a visitor. Since I am not a member I 
could not gain access to the full text. The statistical correlation in the 
abstract is interesting. The fallacy I perceive from the abstract, perhaps 
wrongly, is that variations are being measured among natural populations so 
the author may be measuring gene mutation from external forces (e.g., 
chemical contamination) rather than variations in non mutated gene 
expression.
