Today I spent a wonderful day playing in the garden. I prepared some
packages of Louisiana Irises for some friends, as well as harvesting
seed for the SIGNA Seed Exchange (this will be my first year
donating).
Some seeds I'm VERY excited about and kept for myself include:
Iris foetidissima variegata (dark red seeds)
Iris brevicaulis "PRISTINE BEAUTY" x I. virginica (tetraploid)
Iris foetidissima x Spuria "COPPER TRIDENT"
Next year I'm hoping to get bloom on my I. foetidissima ALBO FRUCTA
which has white seeds.
Are there any variegated-foliage Spurias?
