Re: TB: Barbara Dawn and other Neubert irises

At one time, I an iris was given to me by another elderly club member as
BARBARA DAWN. Like so many here, it is no more. Irises I received from
her were not always correctly labeled, so there's a chance it wasn't BD
to start with.

I don't know anyone who currently grows any Neubert irises in this
area. I've asked Tom & Grace Parkhill in years past with no success -
they don't grow any and as I recall, don't know anyone who does.

Gerry and Jack Couturier moved here after Neubert was no more.

There was no continuity between a previous club in the Knoxville area
that apparently split apart with hard feelings among members (don't know
the full story) and our current club. There may be Neubert irises
growing in the Knoxville area, but I have no way of knowing who has
them.

Our current club meetings are too far for me to commute at night, but I
will pass the question along by email to Jim Ennenga, our current
president to ask at the next meeting.
