We don't grow many TBs before the late 1980s, but GALLANT MOMENT (Schreiners 
80) is very reliable and attractive described as standards smooth red with 
brown influence; falls velvety full red with hints of brown; golden yellow 
beard.  Parentage is primarily a lot of seedlings, but does include the 
plicata WILD GINGER.

Somehow we don't have many red TBs in the garden, but we like this one.  It 
is a keeper.
