CULT: Rot and Treatment with Streptomycin

After dealing with the heat, grasshoppers, and weeds.....I figured fall
would just be for planting my new iris that I planted in pots in June.
Well it has rained daily for the last 8 days. We are double our Oct.
rainfall, and it has rained almost 10 inches in the last week.
I noticed a few iris look like they are beginning to rot. I have
removed all the dead leaves, tried to keep them as open as possible,
but when you are drenched, I just pray they don't all rot.
I am open to any ideas to help slow this process.
I have tried in vain to find Agri-mycin ( Streptomycin). I searched
the web, and could find no online suppliers, and contacted the
company rep that I found on the web. Apparently it is only approved
in TX for Legumes, and I can't buy it.
Anyone have any sources, or ideas? I really would love to find this
product. I wondered if another antibiotic has been tried, like
tetracycline, erythromycin, etc? I can get just about anything from
my vet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Amy Ginley
