Aussie Spring

Hi

How is everyone else in OZ going this spring.

We're having a very cool and windy spring with our season being about 7-10
days late. The SA Iris Show is on this coming weekend and I was hoping we'd
get a burst of warm weather to hurry thing along, but no it's going to stay
cool and damp till then. Jesse's Song has only just come out and this
usually opens in the first week of Oct.
I feel that our TBs won't peak til mid November and will still be going in
December, unless we get some hot weather. The first La are just coming out
and the Spuria are heading but still a couple of weeks off.

We've had a very cool winter, few frost but just cool-cold cloudy most of
the time. I've noticed that what is flowering has a lovely depth of colour
especially the pinkish tones eg Chanted, Strawberry Love and Furioso.

Looking forward to a good bloom season
