I. missouriensis thrives here in NW Iowa (seeds sent to me from a friend in
Colorado), and believe me, cool nights in summer it does not get at all. It
stays muggy and warm, at least by our standards, at night, meaning in the 60s.
People here talk about "hearing the corn grow at night" when it is hot and
humid.
