Wow, the Jackson & Perkins zip code search says I'm in zone 6A! Their
map shows me as zone 7.
If you go by temperature averages, I'm closer to zone 7. The extremes
are closer to zone 4 (coldest winter ever) and 8. In the 30+ years I've
lived here, most of the coldest winters were zone 6, very rare to be
colder than that. The last two winters have been 8.
Guess I better change the zone in my signature line from 7/8 to 6/8!
Rosalie, for your data, I don't know what to tell you, it varies so much
from one year to the next....probably 7.
