HYB: Iris salad dressing (pigments)

Thanks Chuck Chapman for posting those recipes for extracting pigments.
I'm waiting for the oil and water/alcohol to separate to see if there
are any oil soluble pigments in my rosy-lavender amoena rebloomer. I
don't have any mineral oil handy, so used regular cooking oil. At
first, I forgot to use alcohol to extract the water soluble pigments, so
just used water.

Yummy, nothing like wilted iris petals with water/alcohol and oil
dressing <g>! ptui! (I'm joking - nothing about this concoction is
edible).

I practiced with VIOLET MIRACLE and then with HARVEST OF MEMORIES to see
what it looks like when there is only one type of pigment or the other
present. Easy, and results are quite obvious.
