RE: SHOW:Grooming etc.

Betty,

By presenting the program at a meeting, you can get those who do not have a
computer, while making the program available at any time for those who do
have a computer and Internet access. If the club thinks CD distribution is
the way to go, then you can do CDs.

I did think about the AIS sponsoring such a project, but, figured I'd let
someone else, who is familiar with the ins and outs of the AIS make that
jump (this is the only iris related group I belong to). It may very well
take a well made, successful program done by a local group to get the AIS
interested in expanding it with the top people in the country, or taking it
over as their own project.

One may wish to redo the slides every few years to show some of the latest
and greatest iris available.

Steve,

I think this is a great idea for those clubs that have the technology!
Maybe it is a project to be pursued on a national level. Perhaps, in
addition to
colored slides, the society could produce some presentation CDs, rental
available to local clubs??

Unfortunately all clubs are (still) not up to speed with computer literacy.

During a recent discussion, several club members expressed their sense of
pride that they have not "given in" to the pressure to purchase a computer!
